Our Vision

Joining hands for a better society

At The South Bangalore Center, we are committed to work towards the upliftment of Kamma community and people in general. We thrive to provide better living to the society and to ourselves. We have taken up a few initiatives and will continue to do so in other streams as well. To start with, eduction, women empowerment and a united Kamma community is what we have focused on.

Our Objectives

  1. To undertake any activity such as social, Educational, Cultural and spiritual to create environment conducive to physical well being, moral advancement and mental peace enabling the development of whole personality of members and general public.
  2. To establish and run educational institutions, hospitals, health centres and other institutions of similar in nature of general public utility.
  3. To provide financial assistance / scholarships to the poor and deserving students.
  4. To provide a common place for meeting of the members of the Association and General Public purposes of recreation, discussion of common problems, encouragement of thrift, advancement of social welfare ideas, mutual assistance, protection of interests of the members, etc.
  5. To recognize and honour the distinguished persons from different fields and meritorious students.
  6. To sponsor, support and perform works of charity and to diffuse useful educational, literary, commercial and social knowledge.
  7. To make available a directory “Who is Who” in our community who have settled in Bangalore and elsewhere. The Directory will give data on professional, academic, cultural and other background of the members and their children. It would enable us to know at a glance the prominent people and others.
  8. To promote and encourage co-operative movements and in that connection, assist information of consumer societies, Housing Societies, Credit Societies, etc.
  9. To sponsor and organize cultural festivals for the promotion of music, dance and fine arts; and to arrange talks by eminent personalities for cultural enlightenment.
